Red Arrow Energy, LLC is a private company founded in 2006 by R. Carter Overton, H. Brock Hudson, and Allen R. McGee. Management has worked together, in one form or another, for the past 13 years, sharing responsibility for, among other entities, CMR Energy, L.P., Llewellin Operating Company, LLC, JMI Energy, Inc., and Entre Energy Partners, L.P., all of which have been successful in carrying out business plans consistent with Red Arrow's intended course of action. Red Arrow has recently secured commitments of equity from EnCap, certain high net worth family offices, and other institutional investors.

Red Arrow has a two-pronged investment strategy. The first is a classic Acquire and Exploit effort, focused on properties valued from $10 MM to $75MM, with an emphasis on Texas and the surrounding states. The second strategy involves Greenfield Development projects, located in many of the US onshore basins. Red Arrow typically avoids exploration risk, but is willing to commit substantial capital to drilling in proved and probable development and resource exploitation plays.

Red Arrow and its predecessors have participated in investments ranging from land-angel/lease-banking to providing development drilling capital on already assembled projects. Red Arrow prefers projects that generate cash flow early, but is willing to lease and shoot seismic, where needed, and is able to solve many of the classic impediments to Greenfield Plays. Red Arrow prides itself on its ability to make quick investment decisions and create innovative and flexible financial structures to address the needs of our industry partners.
